FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Growing demand in Texas drives expansion of the University South facility, adding 21 new units to meet small business needs.

FORT WORTH, TX, June 26, 2025. WareSpace, a national provider of small warehouse spaces, has completed a 35,000 square-foot expansion at its University South location in Fort Worth, adding 21 new warehouse units to meet surging demand from Texas small businesses.

The expansion at 3131 West Bolt Street brings WareSpace’s Fort Worth footprint to nearly 70,000 square feet. Located minutes from TCU’s campus with quick access to Interstate 20 and 35W, the facility serves businesses throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

“Texas continues to be one of our strongest markets, and this expansion reflects the incredible demand we’re seeing from small businesses who need professional warehouse space without the traditional headaches,” said Levi Cohen, CEO at WareSpace. “Fort Worth entrepreneurs are building amazing companies, and we’re here to give them the infrastructure they need to scale.”

The expansion comes as WareSpace actively seeks additional Texas acquisitions to meet growing demand across major markets including Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.

“We’re actively expanding across Texas to meet growing demand,” said Jeff Jenkins, VP of Acquisitions at WareSpace. “The entrepreneurial energy here is unmatched, and we’re seeing consistent demand that outpaces our current supply. Texas small businesses deserve better options than cramped storage units or oversized warehouse commitments.”

The Fort Worth expansion will serve the same diverse small business community that has made the location successful: eCommerce operators, contractors, light manufacturers, and creative entrepreneurs who need industrial workspace to grow their operations.

“This expansion allows us to support even more of the incredible businesses calling Fort Worth home,” said Joseph Ely, COO at WareSpace. “From startups just graduating from garage operations to established companies looking to streamline their logistics, we’re building the infrastructure that helps Texas businesses thrive.”

WareSpace will celebrate the expansion with an open house on Thursday, July 17 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Qualified business owners will receive $50 for touring, with an additional $500 gift card for those who sign a lease during the event.

The new units range from 200 to 2,000 square feet, each including climate control, 24/7 access, loading docks, WiFi, industrial racking, and access to shared amenities including kitchen, conference rooms, and lounge areas. All units come with WareSpace’s signature all-inclusive pricing and flexible lease terms as short as six months. See the University South location page for current availability.

The Fort Worth expansion adds to WareSpace’s growing national portfolio, which now includes over 2 million square feet of co-warehousing and small-bay industrial space across major U.S. markets, with Texas representing one of the company’s fastest-growing regions.
