GROWTH STORY
She was packing her minivan three times a day when something went viral — now she’s grown 25% every year for three years
Filterless Era at a glance:
Running ecommerce from garage; minivan overflowing on viral days; couldn't separate work and family; security concerns with inventory at home; two hours daily on post office runs
Professional warehouse space with all carriers picking up on-site, loading docks, shared equipment, photo studio, 24/7 access, security, and room to scale
25% growth every year for three years; upgraded to larger unit within months; hired consistent employees; reclaimed family time; professional space for client meetings
When something goes viral, you don’t get a warning. Sarah Fraggis was running Filterless Era — her skincare brand — out of her garage. On good days, she’d pack up the minivan and make a post office run. On viral days, it was two trips. Sometimes three. And as a mother of two, coming home to a house full of packages meant she was never really off the clock. The chaos of inventory in her living space bled into family time. The line between CEO and mom disappeared completely.
Three years at WareSpace later, Sarah was the first tenant in her building — and she’s still there. Filterless Era has grown 25% every single year since she moved in. She upgraded from a small unit to a larger one within months because the business had bandwidth to expand. She hired real employees who come to a professional space, not her house. FedEx, UPS, and USPS all pick up from the same place, so two hours of daily post office runs turned into time making content. The loading docks mean she never has to hand-carry 50-pound boxes again. And when she brings her kids to work, they play ping pong while she ships orders.
Before WareSpace The Minivan Problem
The Minivan Problem
Every ecommerce founder knows the garage phase. Sarah Fraggis lived it — skincare products stacked in corners, orders spreading across the house, the constant presence of work even when work was supposed to be done.
The shipping alone ate hours. Every day meant loading up the minivan and driving to the post office. When something went viral — which happens in skincare — it wasn’t one trip. The minivan would overflow. Two trips. Three trips. Time that should have gone into content creation or product development went into logistics that felt endless.
Being a mother of two made the blurred boundaries harder. Coming home to packages everywhere meant never really being home. The chaos of inventory made it impossible to switch off. When you’re always surrounded by work, you’re always working — even when you’re supposed to be with your kids.
Security was a constant worry. A garage full of inventory is visible. Even with cameras, having that much stock at home felt risky. And hiring help meant inviting people into her house, which was never quite right. Workers came on a contract basis — paid to come over and help — but nothing consistent. Nothing that felt like a real team.
Sarah looked at a ton of places. What she needed was simple: somewhere organized, where shipping was handled, where she could separate work from home. What she kept finding was complicated — places that required setting up utilities, scheduling pickups, figuring out logistics on top of everything else.
“When you’re having your business at home, it’s like you’re always on the clock. Coming home to the chaos of packages — when I should not be working, I’d end up working and not spending time with my family. Being a mother of two kids, it’s been nice to separate.”

Making the Switch Just Show Up
Just Show Up
What Sarah loved about WareSpace was the simplicity. You just show up. The internet’s running. The AC works. There’s coffee. And — the biggest thing — packages get picked up without scheduling anything.
The shipping transformation was immediate. FedEx, UPS, USPS — all in one place. Sarah can compare rates and choose the fastest option without driving anywhere. No more packing the minivan. No more two hours of daily post office runs. That time now goes into making content for people to consume and purchase.
The loading docks changed everything about receiving inventory. At home, she was hand-carrying 50-pound boxes. “It’s really hard for a girl to pick up 50-pound boxes,” Sarah says, “and I don’t want to do that.” At WareSpace, everything rolls off the dock. Pallet jacks. Carts. Equipment she didn’t even know existed before — but now can’t live without.
The all-inclusive pricing took mental load off her plate. A million things to worry about every day — calling ComEd and Nicor doesn’t need to be one of them. One payment. Everything covered. The internet works. The AC runs. The packages get picked up. She focuses on building a skincare brand; WareSpace handles the rest.
Where They Are Now 25% Growth, Every Year, for Three Years
25% Growth, Every Year, for Three Years
Sarah was the first tenant in her WareSpace building. Three years later, she’s still there — and Filterless Era has grown 25% every single year since moving in. For an ecommerce business, that kind of consistency is rare.
The growth happened because Sarah could finally focus. No more two-hour post office runs. No more coming home to work chaos. The time she reclaimed went into content creation — the actual engine of an ecommerce brand. When the work isn’t scattered across your house and your car and three daily trips, you can do the things that actually grow revenue.
She started with two units: an office space and a smaller storage unit. Within a few months, she realized she needed more room. WareSpace made the upgrade easy — she moved into a bigger unit and has been there ever since. The bandwidth to grow was finally there.
Hiring became real. Before, it was contract workers coming to her house — nobody consistent, nothing that felt like a team. Now she has employees who come to a professional space. They have a real workplace. Sarah doesn’t have to worry about inviting people into her home. The business finally feels like a business.
The community has been a bonus she didn’t expect. She’s purchased from other tenants in the building. She’s gotten connections to distributors. Long-lasting friendships have formed. The pizza parties and ice cream socials give everyone a way to connect — entrepreneurs at different levels, sharing advice, looking up to each other, building together.
And when Sarah has to bring her kids to work? There’s a ping pong table. Air hockey. A photo studio when she needs to shoot content at 7pm when nobody else is around. The 24/7 access means her schedule is her own.
“Since I’ve been able to separate work and home and move into WareSpace, my business has consistently grown over 25% each year. It’s really because I’m able to focus on the things that matter rather than being sidetracked at home or having to spend two hours a day just running to the post office.”

What They Love Focus Creates Growth
Focus Creates Growth
For Sarah, WareSpace solved a problem that home-based ecommerce founders know intimately: when work is everywhere, you can’t focus anywhere.
The shipping consolidation gave her hours back. FedEx, UPS, USPS — all picking up from the same place, any hour of the day. No more minivan trips. No more scheduling. That time went straight into content creation, which is what actually drives ecommerce revenue.
The loading docks and equipment eliminated physical strain. Pallet jacks and carts that she didn’t know she needed became things she can’t live without. Receiving inventory stopped being a workout.
The separation of work and home gave her family time back. No more chaos of packages when she walked in the door. No more always being on the clock. The boundary that didn’t exist before is now physical and real.
The professional space enabled real hiring. Employees with consistent schedules, a real workplace, a team that feels like a team. The business infrastructure finally matched the business ambition.
Three years, 25% growth each year, upgraded space, real employees, reclaimed family time. Sarah plans to be with WareSpace as long as she can. “I don’t have to worry about anything,” she says. “That’s the thing.”
