Questions from food, beverage & CPG brands

Storing and shipping your product from WareSpace

The practical questions packaged brands ask before they tour, on storage, climate control, fulfillment, distribution, and what is and isn't allowed.

Can I store and ship packaged food, beverage, and CPG products?

Yes. Food, beverage, and CPG brands use WareSpace to store packaged inventory on racking and fulfill DTC, retail, and wholesale orders from one base. Every location has shared loading docks and material-handling equipment, plus fast WiFi and power for pack stations.

Can I do food production or commercial-kitchen work here?

No. WareSpace units are for storing, packing, and shipping packaged products, not for food manufacturing or commercial-kitchen operations. Packaged and shelf-stable food, beverage, and CPG storage and fulfillment is a great fit; cooking, processing, and production are not.

Are units climate-controlled for temperature-sensitive products?

Yes. Units have HVAC climate control 24/7, which suits most temperature-sensitive packaged goods like beverages, supplements, and shelf-stable foods. Tenants with more sensitive products can add their own refrigeration inside their private, lockable unit.

Can I receive pallets and distribute to retailers and carriers?

Yes. Shared loading docks and material-handling equipment come standard, so pallets come in and product ships out to stores, carriers, and freight cleanly. If you're not on site, the on-site General Manager can receive inbound deliveries on your behalf.

What are the power and stacking specs?

Units come with 120V/20-amp power standard, which covers pack stations, printers, and scanners, with higher capacity available on request. Ceilings allow safe stacking up to about 12 feet on racking for real vertical storage of cases and pallets.

How much does a food, beverage, or CPG warehouse unit cost?

Units start at $1,000/mo, all-inclusive, covering HVAC climate control, shared loading docks, racking, 24/7 access, WiFi, utilities, and amenities. No CAM charges, no triple-net (NNN) surprises, no personal guarantee, and short 6- to 12-month terms.

How do I know if my business is an acceptable use?

Most storage, fulfillment, distribution, and light commercial uses are a fit. A few uses need General Manager approval first, such as last-mile delivery, coffee roasting, or battery storage, and a handful aren't permitted, including auto repair, indoor vehicle storage, food manufacturing, welding or spray painting, and crypto-mining. See the full acceptable use policy at warespace.com/resources/acceptable-use, or just tell us what you do and we'll confirm your fit before you sign.
