The problem

Operating from a garage and outdoor storage with no electricity; couldn't meet clients professionally; equipment exposed to weather; felt like a hobby, not a business.

The solution

Climate-controlled warehouse with electricity, conference rooms for client consultations, all-inclusive pricing, and flexible unit upgrades as the business grows.

The results

Three unit upgrades in three years; hired a warehouse manager and employees on payroll; professional client consultations; networking within the WareSpace community.

Aundreya Jones runs Anointed Creations, handling wedding planning, event planning, photography, and balloon decor. For years she worked from a cluttered garage and an outdoor storage unit with no electricity, where it felt like a hobby, not a company. Three years at WareSpace later, she's upgraded units three times, put employees on payroll, and welcomes clients for professional consultations.

Before WareSpace: working through the weather

Anointed Creations started in a cluttered garage, then moved to an outdoor storage unit. Aundreya found herself moving balloon supplies and photography gear through rain, heat, and snow, with no electricity and no way to charge equipment.

Meeting clients at an outdoor storage unit wasn't an option, and every time the business grew she had to sign a whole new lease. The business felt like a hobby.

We were getting rained on. We had an outdoor unit. We were actually moving all of our equipment in and out of the rain. No matter what the season was, we had to suffer the heat, the rain, the cold, the snow. I knew at that point I had to get Anointed Creations in a space where we could protect our equipment.

Making the switch: everything she dreamed of

WareSpace had shelving installed, electricity, climate control, and a real indoor space at a price she almost couldn't believe. For the first time, she could bring all her equipment and operate on-site.

The break room and conference room made the biggest difference: she could finally host clients for consultations with a TV for live presentations, and all-inclusive pricing rolled internet, electricity, and amenities into one price.

Where they are now: a living, breathing business

Three years in, Aundreya is on her third unit. She now has a warehouse manager and employees on real payroll with direct deposit, and her team works independently because they have access to the space.

The community surprised her, with networking, referrals from the manager, and even a corporate connection to provide balloon decor for a grand opening.

Most of all, the break room has allowed me the opportunity to be able to have my clients come in for consultations and operate as a business and not a hobby.
